Privacy
Privacy, in plain language.
The short version: we collect almost nothing, we never sell what we do, and the tools that touch colour values run entirely in your browser.
Last updated: May 2026
What we collect
When you load a page on ColorPaletteHub, our hosting provider logs the standard request data: the URL you requested, your user-agent string, a timestamp, and an approximate region derived from your IP. These logs are kept for 30 days for debugging and aggregate analytics, then deleted.
We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or fingerprinting scripts. No cross-site cookies are set by this site.
What the tools store
The colour picker remembers your recent picks using your browser's localStorage. That data never leaves your machine and you can clear it any time from the picker page or your browser settings.
The converter, contrast checker, and gradient generator do not store anything — every computation happens client-side, every page load starts fresh.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not embed third-party media that set cross-site cookies. If we ever introduce optional analytics that aren't purely server-side and aggregate, we'll update this page first and offer an opt-out.
When you email us
If you write to one of the addresses on the contact page, we hold your message and address as long as the conversation is active. We do not add you to a marketing list. We do not share your message with third parties unless the law requires it.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction that grants statutory privacy rights, you can request access, correction, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Email privacy@colorpalettehub.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
When this page changes, the “Last updated” date at the top changes with it. Substantive changes will be noted at the bottom of the page for at least 90 days.
